(torna) b same: pronto il nuovo corto di Iarumasami

«Bésame, b same, to be the same.
Nell’intimità della materia, sia essa polimerica piuttosto che plastica, le tre posizioni drammaticamente conflittuali di premio (lei), disfatta (lui) e dominio (l’altro) interagiscono al fattore comune della finzione.
L’indagine dei ruoli rivela che la diversità è solo apparente.
Oltre l’illusione della disuguaglianza, infinite bocche s’aprono per dire tutte la stessa parola, seppure con le più eterogenee cadenze: infiniti modi di cantare la stessa canzone.»

Questo il messaggio contenuto in un cortometraggio dal titolo b same, che suscita improvviso fermento tra le masse: alla disuguaglianza – ridotta a sterile illusione – è accordata valenza meramente concettuale.

Pericolosamente stimolante del libero arbitrio, il sistema lo giudica sovversivo degli equilibri sociali e lo censura preventivamente, ritirandolo dalle sale.

Intanto il giovane regista di b same, forse temendo per la propria incolumità all’insorgere delle polemiche, fa perdere ogni traccia di sé.

In esito all’inchiesta avviata sullo scandaloso contesto, il sistema sembra infine assolvere l’opera – qualificandone il contenuto come innocuo perché inconcludente – e si attiva per recuperarne l’autore.

	(torna) b same rappresenta la naturale evoluzione del cortometraggio b same, protagonista di una travagliata vicenda conclusasi col diniego immotivato – da parte di una tra le più potenti case discografiche americane – della concessione del diritto di sincronizzazione di un brano musicale utilizzato per la colonna sonora. Tale congiuntura, che da un lato ha irrimediabilmente pregiudicato la pubblicazione di b same, d’altro canto ha costituito il substrato concettuale di (torna) b same. Leggi com'è andata...

«Come può una messinscena farci ritenere vero ciò che vero non è?»: con (torna) b same Iarumasami rianima un intreccio che sembrava ormai definitivamente concluso...

«Bésame, b same, to be the same.

This is the message conveyed by a short film entitled b same that causes sudden turmoil among the masses: in its perspective, disparity – reduced to a sterile illusion – has a merely conceptual value.

Its dangerous power to stimulate the free will, induces the Establishment to consider the picture subversive of social stability and, in an act of precautionary censorship, to withdraw it from movie theatres.

With this growing controversy, the young director of b same, maybe concerned for his own safety, disappears without a trace.

Following the results of the inquiry set up on the outrageous context, the Establishment seems at last to absolve the work – describing its content as harmless since inconclusive – and gets to work to find its author.
